Functions

Atrium

The atrium will be a magnificent, multifunctional space. In addition to housing the Green Building Centre, it will play host to book launchings, press conferences, receptions as well as a multitude of other events. The space will be able to accommodate up to 150 people, or even more if the bistro space is included.

Restaurant

A restaurant will be located on the ground floor of the Centre. This restaurant will serve as a space where people from the sustainable development community in Montréal and Québec can gather and exchange ideas.

Daycare Centre

A daycare centre will offer educational daycare services to Hydro-Québec employees as well as to members of the Centre for Sustainable Development.

Office spaces

The Centre for Sustainable Development will house the offices of the building’s members and tenants.

Shared spaces and facilities

The following spaces and facilities will be available for the shared use of members and tenants of the Centre for Sustainable Development:

  • A conference room with a capacity of approximately 75 people, that can be divided into two separate rooms;
  • A ground-floor space that can be used for public events such as press conferences, launchings, educational activities, etc.

Conference rooms

A large conference room with a seating capacity of 55 to 60 will be located on the ground floor. This space will be used for training seminars, presentations, conferences and occasional thematic exhibits on sustainable development. Two meetings rooms for 20 to 30 people and a meeting room for 12 people will also be available to the building’s occupants and like-minded groups.
